Montecristo Srl was born in 2013, two years later the entry into force of the italian brokerage license (category 8), like alternative to the standard scrap yards with big stocks of materials, to try to deal with more structured activities but less performing.
Today the society operates internationally (European, American, Asiatic and African market) in brokerage and trading of metals like ingots and scraps.
This market changed a lot in last years, going from a market based on structured Companies with big warehouses and stocks in financial and administrative Activities.
The choice to work without a warehouse is connected also to the decision to insert scraps into law regulating wastes, changing totally the market, principally for the costs due to adjust Companies to the strict envirnmental legislation and also too many obligatory courses for these categories.
We think so that working with your own warehoses and trucks is becoming always less interesting and more dangerous…better using trustable transport Comapnies and forwarders.
The core-business of Company are zinc, zinc die cast, stainless steel and bronze. Zinc like SHG, HG and remelted ingots, scraps, byproducts coming from hot dip and spray galvanizers, zinc die cast like scraps and shelves, stainless steel like AISI 304, 316, low Ni alloys, chrome and bronze, like scraps and its alloys.
MTC is a trader also of lead, copper, brass and to a lesser degree, of all non ferrous metals
